Sorry folks! This year Apple may disappoint you. No new Apple hardware, software or other services might be up for release this time.

Tim Cook’s statement

Just a while ago, Tim Cook has retorted, during the Q2 2013 earnings call that Apple has no plans to make public any new Apple devices till the fall of 2013 saying “our teams are working on new hardware, software, and services that we can’t wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014.” This was a hint that he gave without giving any formal specific commitments for new Apple releases this year.

Talking about Apple’s future plans in the pipeline he permanently set the wagging tongues to rest as he squashed the rumors (Read: Apple iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and low cost iPhone to be delayed) of any devices in summer. It is confirmed news that the Apple CEO, Mr. Tim Cook has clearly insinuated that the new Apple releases like the iPad, iPhone may not show up until fall.

Apple has always actively released new software and devices throughout the year but it seems this year is going to be different. There is going to be no summer release for the iPhone 5S! The trend of releasing the iPhones in fall may be set by Apple from now on.

Apple stuns all

Tim Cook is one smart guy he did say that a few currently announced may make their presence felt “throughout 2014″ but we think that he was talking about software. Updates to iOS and OS X have also been a part of the discussion in Apple’s June WWDC since many years.

In 2013, at WWDC, Apple personnel may talk more about the features of iOS 7 and the OS X 10.9.

Since a long time the speculation regarding the iPhone 5S has been a rife. Whispers in the tech world were heard that Apple may be planning to come out with an iPhone 5S, a second generation iPad mini, or a fifth generation iPad at the WWDC this summer. Will this put an end to the expected annual product refresh cycle, still remains to be seen.

But Tim Cook’s, remarks on the product introductions at fall did seem to indicate the new iPad and iPhone. Apple lovers are used to these new introductions by Apple and not only do they look forward in anticipation, to the introduction to new devices each year, they are also anxiously waiting for the iWatch.

Well, it seems that they are in for disillusionment as this might not be possible till 2014. During the conference call, CEO Tim Cook had mentioned in general that Apple may come out with few new product categories that may be a surprise the people. As there are no special events for software or hardware before then, maybe he was talking about the iWatch!

So people, wait with abated breaths, for the Apple iPhone 5S “surprise”. You may just be surprised by a fingerprint reader and great camera in it!
